Feeding BottlesStandard feeding bottles have a narrow neck and are tall and slim. You can generally fit more of these into a steriliser to clean at one time. There are different sizes of standard feeding bottles from newborn 120ml-cc to follow-on feeding bottles 250ml-cc. A baby that is fully bottle fed will need between six and eight standard 250ml-cc feeding bottles. Wide necked feeding bottles are shorter and have a wider neck. They are generally easier to clean and fill with milk powder. There are different sizes of bottles 150ml-cc, 200ml-cc, 300ml-cc and 360ml-cc. Some feeding bottles are shaped to help self-feeding like the easy to grasp feeding bottles and slim-waisted feeding bottles. Other types of feeding bottles include the unrolling feeding bottle which prevents the bottle from rolling and insulated feeding bottles which keep the milk warm.

Good tip! Make up a day's feeds in advance and store them in the fridge. This will save you time and your baby won't have to wait while you make up a feed.
